After the Albanian Prime Minister gave the idea to open a unique
frequency area for the Albanian and Kosovo media to operate in the same
territory, the Kosovo government declared that they are in favour of
this initiative.
However, Deputy Prime Minister Hajredin Kuci declared that everything will be made for mutual cooperation without damaging the international rights.
Asked by Top Channel if they are discussing with Albania’s government for this matter, as declared by the Albanian Prime Minister yesterday, Kuci declared that every solution should be discussed in a level that will bring success for the Albanians and the international factor.
“We will discuss the ideas, but most of the media outlets are private and we will be careful for this. We cannot take it for granted within each other. We will make everything possible, but within the international laws”, Kuci declared.
He added that the media should take this idea in consideration and that the Kosovo government supports everything that is legal, constitutional and with international principles.
Berisha asked yesterday that besides the road construction, which facilitate the communication between Albanians, we must resolve the problem of broadcasting waves which are not crossing the border yet.
This declaration was criticized by the opposition MP, Alfred Dalipi, who considered it as corruption based and against the regulations signed in Geneva.
