Ksamil without a health centre

The new health centre which ended two years ago in Ksamil is out of
function. The commune never took it under its responsibility, since it
did not fulfil the technical conditions. This has left the 9500
residents Ksamil and the 30.000 tourists in summer to face serious
difficulties regarding the health service.
The Ksamil doctors work in a very old building that doesn’t offer even the most minimal standards for this service.
The Director of the Ksamil Health Centre says that they have not been able to make the building functional, despite the constant requests made to all central and local institutions.
Each year Ksamil has 100 newborn babies and hundreds of residents who return from emigration, while the health quality is very law.
