Top Channel published authentic facts that arrived in our newsrooms from anonymous sources that talk about the implication of the former chairman of the SMI party, currently a deputy of the Freedom Party, with Russian financial connections.
These facts are bank receipts, bank accounts in Switzerland, Portugal and Cyprus from which Mrs. Kryemadhi received and sent money to offshore companies, owned by shareholders closely connected to the politics and the president of Russia,Vladimir Putin.
Here is what Mrs. Kryemadhi stated in relation:
“I, as the whistleblower of the incinerators affair, do not back down from my reports on the flagrant facts of violation by PM Edi Rama, mayor Erion Veliaj, Armando Subashi, and all the officials of the chain of this mafia group.
“All Albanians should know that these disinformation services are all financed by your money.
“This is why the money for the incinerators did not end, because with the money of the Tirana incinerator, Erion Veliaj pays the national media in Albania, and contractors of the dark world who offer the most dubious services.
“However, I remind you once again that with the news items, the Media, the Televisions that feed on the money stolen from the Albanians, we will see you all in court.”
The reaction in the form of an accusation of the former president of SMI does not actually explain any of the bank accounts and facts in her disfavor.
At this point, when the accused of Russian money does not give explanations but throws accusations and hints, it is good that SPAK prosecutors start verifications and investigations.
There is no room for doubt about the truth of the facts published by Top Channel or the accusations made by Kryemadhi, that is why Top Channel invites SPAK to investigate in every aspect.
Top Channel published authentic documents and brought concrete facts about how one of the main politicians in the country, in 2017 had carried out banking operations with offshore companies connected to the Kremlin.
Now it is the duty of justice to prove and certify their authenticity.
It is also the duty of Justice to give answers to the baseless allusions that Ms. Kryemadhi made to the national media that published these facts.
