High Council of Justice will gather this Friday for receiving the
information they demanded from the HCJ.
In absence of a response, should have already arrived, according to the Chairman of the Investigative Commission, Alibeaj, the Commission will postpone the deadline for the HCJ to hand the materials over.
Alibeaj says that Kreshnik Spahiu, by refusing to give the requested information, is on the bring of committing a penal act.
“I agree to send another request, and expect the response in the next meeting. If the response will not be return, maybe due to negligence or even for creating obstacles to the investigations, we will have a penal action by Spahiu”, Alibeaj declared.
The Commission also decided to summon the HCJ vice Chairman on February 10th session. Alibeaj declared that the Commission has the Constitutional obligation to hear him.
“We sent a written request to Mr. Spahiu, and there has been no response. We don’t know if he has the desire or not to be present, but our Constitutional obligation is to give him all the possibilities to be heard about his activity at the HCJ”, Alibeaj declared.
The Chairman of the Investigative Commission also declared that they have collected from the state institutions and TV stations the necessary materials for continuing with the investigations.
