The judo champion, Majlinda Kelmendi, was optimistic for the future and the medals she hopes to bring Kosovo.
A new sponsor will help stimulate her preparations for the next three years.
Her trainer Driton Kuka hopes to bring home medals in the Olympic Games, which would take the best known Albanian judo player in the highest steps of the podium.
Kelmendi was born in Peja, Kosovo, in 1991. She represented Albania at the London Olympic Games of 21012.
