Prishtina and Belgrade reached an agreement for the integrated
management of their borders, but hasn’t been officially confirmed yet.

The news came from the head of the Kosovo Delegation, Edita Tahiri, who considered the agreement as a big event, during an interview for RTK.

“The integrated management of the border includes 6 checkpoints between Kosovo and Serbia. This agreement protects the national interests of Kosovo and respects its Constitution”, Tahiri declared.

She emphasized that by taking in consideration the constructive position of Kosovo in this process, the chances for receiving the visa liberalization instructions are bigger.

The head of the Serbian delegation, Borislav Stefanovic, declared that the Serbian part presented a series of proposals that show that Belgrade is not the one blocking the dialogue.

As regards the declaration of the German Chancellor, Angela Merkel, that Serbia has not fulfilled the conditions for entering EU, Stefanovic emphasized that the Serbian delegation has traveled to Brussels exactly for fulfilling them.

He expressed his optimism that the European officials will take a positive decision in the December 9th Summit.
