Kosovo, Self-Determination Movement MPs receive court sentence

More than two years from the official accusations of throwing tear gas inside the Kosovo Parliament, the four MPs of the Self-Determination Movement received today the Court’s decision.
Former leader Albin Kurti was sentenced to two years in probation, if he commits no other crimes.
The three other MPs were also sentenced to probation.
Albin Kurti, Albulena Haxhiu, Fatopn Topalli and Donika Kadaj-Bujupi are accused of using dangerous weapons to block the official duty of the Parliament, when the Parliament was ratifying the Demarcation Agreement with Montenegro and the Agreement for the Association of Serbian Communes.
