The Mayor of Prishtina, Shpend Ahmeti, is no longer a member of the Self-Determination Movement.
In a public letter published for the media, Ahmeti explains why he left this political force.
The main reasons are the recent disagreements between the Self-Determination Movement.
“I didn’t join the Self-Determination Movement to fight each-other within the organization. The party has no longer what made me join it. I don’t believe that in this situation, it is the best path for a change. At least not based on what I believe”, Ahmeti wrote.
