A considerable amount of weapons and ammunition has been seized at the Vermica Customs Checkpoint by the Kosovo authorities.
The Police say that during an inspection, the Customs Police and the Kosovo Police have been able to stop a vehicle with two Albanians from Albania inside.
The officers found the arsenal hidden inside the back seats of the vehicle.
The seized weapons were: 11 handgun pistols of different calibers; 5 rifles; 8 rifle binoculars and 6755 different types of bullets.
The seized weapons were sent to the Kosovo Police, while the people involved will undergo the investigation procedure.
