The Prime Minister of Kosovo, Ramush Haradinaj, asked the Interior Minister, Flamur Sefaj, to resign.
Haradinaj underlines that the arrest and deportation of five Turkish citizens goes completely against the values and principles of Kosovo.
“As Prime Minister, I have not been informed by the Ministry for this activity. Hence, I ask your immediate removal from the post as Interior Minister”, Haradinaj says.
The New Kosovo Alliance (AKR) Party will soon hold an urgent meeting since the Minister comes from their ranks. AKR vice leader reacted: “This is a shameful act. We will soon take a decision”, said Agim Bahtir, leader of the AKR.
Haradinaj has also fired Driton Gashi as Director of the Kosovo Intelligence Agency.
