The Self-Determination Movement marked an important victory in Prishtina and Prizren during these local elections, taking Kosovo’s two biggest cities.
Arben Ahmeti reconfirmed his mandate in Prishtina, against Arban Abrashi of the LDK.
In Prizren, Mytaher Haskuka won against Shaqir Totaj of the PDK.
However, the losing candidates in both cities said they don’t accept the result. Both LDK and PDK declared they will do everything possible to respect the citizens’ will.
