During the new session of the Kosovo Parliament, the Prime Minister
Hashim Thaçi reconfirmed the readiness of his government for continuing
the dialogue with Belgrade.
Although opposed by the opposition, Thaci underlined that the dialogue should continue for resolving technical matters for the Euro-Atlantic integration.
The opposition MP, Skender Hyseni from the Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK) declared that the dialogue should be interrupted for as long that Prishtina doesn’t have a clear platform for the changes.
“Since the government has decided to dialogue, than they should not accept two types of stamps in Customs and any resolution that damages Kosovo’s unitary character”, Hyseni declared.
On the same line stands the head of the Parliamentary Group of the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo (AAK), Adrian Gjini, who underlined that dialogue should be interrupted, since it is not serving to Kosovo’s interests.
“The dialogue should continue only when the government will have a clear platform for the dialogue”, Gjini declared.
