The Albanian MP in Macedonia, Ermira Mehmeti, has not reacted for the
press after the absence at the Assembly of the Council of Europe, where
the resolution of Kosovo was voted together with four amends proposed by
Serbia.
Amendment 10 was rejected for one single vote. Mrs.Mehmeti was absent, although her name was called several times, since she had a speech in the agenda.
After many reactions, the Albanian MP posted on Facebook some pictures to prove her commitment in favor of Kosovo at the Council of Europe. In one of the pictures, the Vice Parliament Speaker, Xhavit Haliti, thanked her for the contribution.
The MP writes that during the voting procedure she was on her way to Skopje, since couldn’t catch another plane home.
