The German General, Erhard Drevs started today his assignment as the new
Commander of KFOR troops, previously held by the German Erhard Buhler.
The change of command was made in a moment when the situation in Northern Kosovo is tense.
NATO has 5500 soldiers in Kosovo, after the reinforcement sent last month due to the turmoil in northern areas with Serbian majority.
The hand over ceremony was led by the NATO Commander in Napoli, Samuel Locklear, in presence of General Erhard Buhler.
