The number of road accidents increases each year in Albania during the
tourist season. In these conditions, police appeals citizens to be more
careful.
“There are vehicles coming from Poland, Baltic countries and even from Asia. Police appeals citizens to respect the rules and avoid accidents”, declared Mithat Tola, Chief of the Traffic Police.
Tola said for Top Channel that besides Kosovo officers, this year there will also come from Macedonia to patrol Albanian roads.
“Based on a cooperation agreement between Albania and Macedonia, officers will arrive in our country, especially in Saranda, where many Macedonian tourists chose to go, while Albanian officers have traveled to Struga to help holiday-makers from both countries”, Tola declared.
