“Very soon you will learn where we are going to hold the meeting, but I
proposed Korca. I love that city”, Behgjet Pacolli said about the first
meeting as Foreign Minister and as Deputy Prime Minister with his
counterparts in Albania.

Just a few minutes later, his desire was accomplished. The next meeting between Kosovo and Albania will be held in Korca, on November 27th. This was confirmed by Prime Minister Edi Rama, after meeting Pacolli.

Pacolli was received by Albanian Foreign Minister, Ditmir Bushati, who said that economic diplomacy is the focus of this mandate. For this, he had an invitation for Minister Pacolli as well.

“I invited President Pacolli to an activity we are holding for economic diplomacy. Considering the weight of his duty, his private and public experience, we need his assistance to also orient our Foreign Service towards this important diplomatic segment”, Minister Bushati said.

Pacolli then attended a visit at the Presidency, where President Ilir Meta congratulated him for the new duty and valued his personal commitment for the recognition of Kosovo’s independence.
