Korce, three new fires

Three fires have been registered again in Korce. The flames have
engulfed the Dardha tourist area, only a few meters from the ski track, a
very special place for this area.
The other fires continued over Kamenica, while the situation seems even more problematic in the Kozeli forests. The fires are reported to be powerful and the firefighters cannot intervene. The Forest Service forces are working together with the respective communes.
According to the Forest Service leaders, the only solution is that of an aerial intervention. The fires in Korce have been massive and are burning down the forests and national parks. In almost all cases the fires have been caused intentionally, while the police has identified only a small part of the arsonists.
