The Court of Appeal in Korce returned for a review the case for the murder of the taxi driver Fredi Talelli.
The Penal College of the Court of Appeals returned the case for a review after noting procedural violations.
The case will be reviewed by the judge panel of the Court of First Degree, in which the defendants will have the same pretences.
The Korce Court of First Degree sentenced 6 people on June 2011, for the murder of the taxi driver from Pilur.
Elkjero Revani was sentenced to life in prison, Arnest Xhacka with 16 years to prison, although the prosecution had pretended only 12.5 years.
Domeniko Kumria was sentenced to 8 years in prison for obstructing justice by throwing the crime’s car in the Shkumbin River and for offering shelter to the authors.
The Court sentenced Kastriot Papleka with 5 years to Prison for obstructing justice, while the two other minors were sentenced to 6 months in prison for illegal arm possession.
Arnest Xhack declared in the last session that he admits the crime, but not the murder. These decisions were appealed and the trial will start from the beginning.
