Linda Rama: Between Family, Work and Albania’s Future With the significant temperature decrease and the environmental changes, the Korce Prefect assembled the Civilian Emergency
Status for the city of Korce.
During a meeting with the vice Prefects and local administration leaders, the Prefect Andrea Mano underlined that this region will be constantly monitored by the Regional Unit of Traffic Police, which will watch closely the situation of national and rural roads, in order to guarantee free vehicle movement.
Mano also promised for the Korce citizens that there will be no more floods, which remain a very big problem for the moment. Based on the fact that the winter in the southeastern region frequently creates emergency situations, such as the blocking of the communes due to snowfalls, the Prefect asked not only measures to be taken for guaranteeing medicine and other vital elements for the residents, but also to make them aware for facing the difficult situations that could be caused in the months to come.
