A 86 year old from the Poloske village, Devoll, remained victim of a robbery that took place in her house.
Emin Rota was killed with hard objects by three young men who broke in for stealing.
Two weeks earlier, a 24 year old was stabbed in the main boulevard, while two others were wounded.
The murder of Emine Rota brings to ten the number of persons that have been killed during the first 9 months of 2011.
The murder statistics in the Korce District ring alarm bells not only for murders with very banal motives, but also other macabre ones that have shocked the entire public opinion.
The Police have resolved 100% of the cases, but however, the levels this year are alarming. Besides the murders, also the injuries have increased. During 2010 there have been 13 serious injuries and 98 light ones. Only in the first 6 months of 2011 there have been 16 serious injuries and 87 light ones.
