The Spokesperson of the EU Representative for Foreign Policy, Maja Kocijancic, has reacted on Twitter after the meeting that Federica Mogherini held with PM Edi Rama.
Kocijancic said that the European Commission has recognized the concrete results of the reforms, especially the judiciary.
“Federica Mogherini received Prime Minister Edi Rama, after the recommendation of the European Commission for opening the EU accession negotiations for Albania, recognizing this way the tangible results with the reforms, especially with the judiciary”, said the Spokesperson of Mogherini.
During his visit in Brussels Rama will meet with other high-level EU leaders to discuss Albania’s EU accession negotiations.
