Klosi: How I knew Lika at University and SHISH

The former Chief of the Secret Service (SHISH), Fatos Klosi, declared that he
has known the man that the President has decreed as the replacement of
Bahri Shaqiri, the Chief of the SHISH. Klosi says for “Shqip”
that he has known Lika in university, when he used to be his professor.

“Lika was a very good student and mathematician, but this is not enough for being chief of the Secret Service. I found Lika at the Sercret Service offices when I became Chief of this institution, and he had a very important role. I did not ask him to leave, but he quit the job. Then I came to know the fact that he had had a very suspicious role in the elections of 1996”, Klosi declared.

Based on the personal acquitance, Klosi says that he didn’t like that the CV of the new Chief of SHISH emphasized the fact that he was an expert of technology and informatics.

“HIs CV is mostly based on the fact that he is a good expert on informatics. But the main duty of the Secret Service is not to transmit information, but to collect it on terrain. This is the essential part of this job”, he declared.

Klosi says that Shaqiri was replaced in a wrong time.

“It’s not good to announce the news when he was on vacation”, Klosi declared.

He underlines that the appointment of Lika has a political background that is related with the fact that most of the international partners were on vacations. Klosi says that Shaqiri’s replacement left many unanswered questions, such as what was the reason that the Prime Minister didn’t like the former Chief. The truth is that he didn’t consider Shaqiri one of his men, and this mentality is very dangerous for this institution, according to Klosi. He added that Lika would be able to implement illegal orders given by Berisha.
