Klosi, documents are not secret

The former Secret Service Chief, Fatos Klosi, declared that the
documents used by the Socialist MP, Erjon Brace, for revealing a scandal
in which the Defense Ministry is involved, are not secret or
classified. According to him, this is very clear and there is no room
for misunderstandings.
“When a document is secret, the producer of that document is obliged by law to stamp the ‘secret’ seal upon it. If the documents do not have the sign, it means that the producer has not considered it as such, and there’s no reason to not publish it”, he declared.
Referring to the facts published for the arming of the Military Intelligence Service even with snipers, Klosi declared that this is absurd and abnormal.
“This is absurd, because MIS is not a military combat institution. MIS is an institution within the Ministry of Defense that has its own duties, but nothing related to the weapons. If MIS has bought weapons, this is wrong”, Klosi declared.
After the publishing of a series of documents by Erjon Brace, the Ministry of Defense reacted by declaring that these are secret documents. Brace rejected it by saying that this move from the Defense Ministry is an effort to cover the corruption affairs of this department.
