The Albanian Embassy in Britain said that King Charles received in a private meeting the Ambassador of Albania to Great Britain Dr. Uran Ferizi, in Buckingham Palace in London.

There was a delay in the delivery of credentials after King Charles was diagnosed with prostate cancer a few weeks ago and consequently minimized public engagements.
Asked by Top Channel’s Muhamed Veliu what he discussed with the British Monarch, Ambassador Uran Ferizi stated:
“King Charles praised me for my academic achievements. I told the king that I represented Albania, but also the Albanians in Britain, where there are plenty of those who are as successful as I am, if not more so. We show him that we are a proud people, and a loyal ally of Britain. I conveyed the desire of the Albanian state and the Albanians for him to visit Albania. He was very enthusiastic, especially to visit Butrint and the Albanian Alps”.
