The Mayor of Kavaja reacted this Friday about declarations that he had
left the country fearing a possible arrest. He posted on Facebook
Italian documents showing that he has no criminal records in the
country.
Rroshi said that he resigned from his duty as Mayor, but a criminal record from Italy forced him to travel to the neighboring country and request a declaration from the Italian authorities. Today he has received the documents showing a clean criminal record.
Rroshi says that because of this, he will continue his job as Mayor of Kavaja, in order to respond to the citizens that have voted him.
Rroshi appealed politicians to stop going after a Mayor, who, according to him, has brought back hope to his city.
