Kadare’s manuscript preserved in archive

40 years after the original manuscript of “Dimri i Vetmise se Madhe” was
taken by the widow of the former Albanian Dictator, Nexhmije Hoxha, it
will be seized and it will be temporarily kept at the General Directory
of the Archives.
Judge Bledar Abdullai ordered for the manuscript to be taken from Nexhmije Hoxha and it will be kept in the archive, until the case will be solved. The judge explained that the archive has all the necessary conditions for preserving the original documents.
The lawyer of Nexhmije Hoxha asked the rejection of the request, but then Hoxha agreed to keep the manuscript at the archive.
The trial between Kadare and Hoxha starts on September. Hoxha took the manuscript from Kadare during the communist area, for preserving it better, and she refuses to return it to the writer.
