Kadare: Kosovo Serbia reconciliation will happen

Kadare declared in an interview for Radio Kosova that the reconciliation process should be based on the justice implementation.

“The reconciliation has a basic criterion which is the justice implementation and the apologies. In the history of people, the recognition of a crime and the apology defines the further destiny between both neighboring nations and their people, and this should happen in Balkan”, Kadare declared.

According to him, on the case of Kosovo, the truth stays on the Albanian’s side, and for this reason, the new state should not fear investigations that aim to reveal the truth.

During this interview Kadare commented on the options that have been circulating about territorial exchanges and the unification of Kosovo with Albania.

For the moment, he underlined, should be taken in consideration the fact that the existence of two Albanian states in Balkan is an extraordinary victory for the Albanians.

”It would be wise for the Albanians to not rush with something on which there is no reason to hurry. The creation of two Albanian states in Balkan was an extraordinary victory, a miracle of those that happen very rarely in the world. From a shrunken state, Albania exploded into a nation with two states. And don’t think that this has not caused any trauma to the Balkan anti-Albanian circles”, Kadare declared.
