Justice Reform Commission meeting failed, Chairman: “DP ruined Speaker’s US visit”

The meeting appointed this Wednesday for the Justice Reform failed after
none of the opposition representatives were present in the room.

The Chairman of the Justice Reform Commission, Fatmir Xhafaj, said that the opposition’s absence made Parliamentary Speaker Ilir Meta interrupt his official visit in the USA.

The first step of the justice reform is passing a law for a reevaluation of judges and prosecutors in Albania. The law, according to Xhafaj, is the first step that opens the way for the implementation of the entire reform.
