The Minister of Justice, Etilda Gjonaj, asked the Supreme Council of the Judiciary to take measures about the three judges who turned the life-sentence of Dritan Dajti to 25 years in prison after he killed four police officers in 2009.
“This is an unprecedented decision given by the Court of Serious Crimes. The Ministry of Justice has made all necessary verifications, and three judges out of five have voted to reduce his sentence. For this reason, I addressed the Supreme Council of the Judiciary to take measures against the three judges. The government’s reaction will not stop here”, Minister Gjonaj declared.
