The Prosecution of Serious Crimes has started a case against the Tirana
Court Judge, Ibrahim Hoxha, charged with passive corruption. He has
received 600.000 ALL from a person who was part of a trial.
The Prosecution has also charged Dritan Jazexhi, Novruz Gajde, both charged with active corruption of judges. Ledjon Hoxha, the Judge’s son, is also charged with obstructing judges. Altin Malaj and Gerald Hoxha are charged with false testimony.
The investigation held by the Prosecution showed that Judge Hoxha asked 800.000 ALL in exchange of a verdict in favor of Dritan Jazexhiu.
The police kept the people involved under surveillance and they were caught in the act.
