The leader of the Serbian Liberal-Democratic Party, Cedomir Jovanovic declared that the Serbian policy with Kosovo has failed.
According to him, now it is necessary to normalize the relations with the Kosovo Albanians.
“We need a sudden turn in our policy for Kosovo, and we must make it clear that Serbia’s priority is the creation of normal conditions for Kosovo Serbs. If we keep this goal, than the precondition for its achievement is the normalization of the relations with Kosovo Albanians”, declared Jovanovic in a seminar organized by the German foundation “Friedrich Naumann” foundation in Nish.
According to the Serbian moderate politician, the normalization of the relations with the Albanians will start only when Belgrade will respect their interests that were concretized in the creation of a state that is recognized by 100 UN countries.
“Serbia must see Kosovo in the right point of view. LDP thinks that the plan of Ahtisari should be implemented”, Jovanovic declared.
