An attempted robbery at a jewelry store in the center of Tirana has ended with the owner of the shop dead.
Recent information indicate that the robber has shot the owner when the latter refused to give him the money made during the day.
The 62-year-old owner was shot in a delicate part of the body, what caused him a sudden death.
Police have started the investigation for finding the authors of the crime.
Shop robberies are becoming again a concerning phenomenon for the capital.
This September, Tirana Police destroyed a gang of robbers who had stolen many casinos. During the operation there was a fire exchange, which left two gang members and one police agent wounded.
