January 21st, former directors: ISS created evidence

One of the public order and security experts, Besnik Shehu, says that the police behavior was an organized disorganization.

“It was an organized disorganization, starting from the planned actions and to the ones that were implemented, which degenerated in police violence by the end of the demonstration”, declared the former high rank police director, Besnkik Shehu.

The former Chief of Tirana Police, Pjerin Ndreu, says that on that day were not the Police elite who gave the orders, but politics and the National Guard.

“No experienced police director can undertake the responsibility to use guns against the crowd. This decision is not compatible with the police elite decision making, which has been shadowed on that day. Their actions showed a deep lack of professionalism, which means that the troops were commanded by the politics and some military men that know nothing about crowd management”, declared the former Chief of Tirana Police, Pjerin Ndreu.

The former Colonel, Mr. Shehu, launches even harsher accusations against the Interior Inspection Service. He says that the law provides the Judicial Police with the attributes and the means to find who had ordered the shooting with live bullets.

“In this specific case, with four victims, the Interior Inspection Service should automatically hold the position of a judicial police, with initiatives, with orders from the Prosecution. They should undertake the necessary decisions for documenting all police violations. The IIS was intentionally left without this competence, or someone has ordered them to not be involved in this investigation, by leaving everything to the Prosecution”, Besnik Shehu declared.

Pjerin Ndreu says that the IIS has invented evidence.

“The police were unprofessional, especially if they have had prior information. They had information and they allowed cars among the protesters? This shows that these information have been invented after, and not before. It is simple. They haven’t had any kind of information”, Ndreu declared.
