The Kosovo and Serbian Presidents will meet in Brussels on February
sixth. The news was confirmed by President Tomislav Nikolic through a
message published on Twitter.
The meeting will be observed by the EU High Representative, Baroness Catherine Ashton, after Nikolic will return from a visit to Turkey.
The participants of this meeting will discuss the normalization of relations between Belgrade and Prishtina, without any concrete topic. Belgrade declared that the goal of this meeting is the meeting itself.
Serbia expects that this and other meetings in the future will help opening the dialogue for the EU integration, one year after receiving the EU candidate status. Two weeks later Kosovo Prime Minister Hashim Thaci is expected to meet the Prime Minister of Serbia, Ivica Dacic.
