The German Ambassador, Carola Muller Holtkemper has visited today the
town of Bulqize. Accompanied by MP Qemal Minxhozi, she met the miners
and the Miniers’ Union at the Bulqize Mine, and was updated with the
respective problematic.
The Ambassador expressed her readiness to support the miners and offered German companies to manage the mine. The head of the miners’ syndicate, Kujtim Alli, updated the ambassador with the situation.
He said that the main problem is the lack of the investments that were foreseen with the ACR Company agreement. If the investments will not be realized in four years, it will close.
The Union member asked the ambassador for support and intervention to resolve this situation, so that the investments in this mine can start urgently.
The German Ambassador declared that many German companies have offered to operate with projects in the Bulqize mine.
