Izet Haxhia extradited from Turkey, arrives in Tirana

The former bodyguard of former DP leader and former PD, Sali Berisha, was extradited last night from Turkey.

The airplane from Ankara landed at 20:10, in the Rinas airport. Haxhia was taken at prison 313.

He handed himself over this April to the Turkish police and made the news public himself, through social networks.

Haxhia was sentenced with 25 years in prison for the murder of Azem Hajdari, which he never admitted.

He declared that he is coming to Albania to reopen the case, but it is unknown if the Court will take his request into account.
