Italy voted to remove a special tax on Albanian truck that enter their territory.
This law was in effect since 1959, making every Albanian truck to pay six Euros for every ton of shipment for 100 km distance, and 9.3 Euros per shipment for above 100 km.
The Albanian vehicles also paid another tax for circulation. It was 150-180 Euros for 120 days for bigger trucks, and 70-80 Euros for 8-ton vehicles. Every Albanian truck would pay 500 EUR a year, creating inequalities with other countries.
Due to this discrimination, Albanian merchants would use trucks from the neighboring countries. 800 companies will benefit directly from this, with 2500 trucks.
