During an operation code-named “The Storm”, the Fier Police arrested two
Italian citizens as suspects for two violent robberies that took place
last week.

According to the Fier Police, the arrested are Giuseppe Margiotta, 33 years old, and Franco Galluci, 31, both born and residents of Lecce.

Police declared that the Italian citizens undertook robbed with firearms two jewelry stores, one in Ballsh and one in Fier, and also two Lushnje merchants.

Police has secured as evidence the two vehicles used by the robbers, while discovering that they were wanted by the Italian Police in all European countries.

It seems that besides the domestic robbers, who have increased their activity recently, Albania is becoming an “attraction” even for the foreign ones.
