The Court of First Degree in Vlore gave the arrest measure until extradited to Italy for the 29 year old Ali Islamaj.

According to the Court, the 29-year-old was defended by his lawyer, Delo Mecani, who was only an observer in this session after the prosecutor Vojsava Starova read his charges.

Judge Vjola Canaj then left the arrest measure until his extradition in Italy, where he is accused for a series of thefts, robberies and where he is being investigated for murder. Ali Islamaj had changed identity and was recognized as Altin Hoxha. The young man from Drashovica had an international arrest order released by the Rome Criminal Court, as a suspect for more than 50 violent robberies of luxury villas in different cities of Italy, in cooperation with eight other Albanians who were arrested by the Italian police one year ago.

He escaped on January 2012 from the high security prison “Regina Celi”, in Rome, where he was waiting trial while being investigated from four different Italian Prosecutions.
