Investigations for the Kristal diplomas

According to the investigation unit, after seizing a series of documents at the Kristal University, the task force is reviewing the procedures that have been followed since the registration of this student and until his graduation; if the documents have been falsified and if there are other people with suspicious diplomas.

The Prosecution is verifying the suspicions that many students might have been directly registered at the second or third year, by simply paying for the other years without following them.

However, the investigators did not declare what cases they were reviewing, although they said that the verifications are being conducted together with the investigations about the son of the former leader of the Italian Northern League party (Lega Nord), whose Kristal University diploma was made public by the Italian media.

The investigators added that they are waiting the necessary documents from the university, while all the professors that have been interrogated declared that none of them remembers Renzo Bossi, because they have had dozens of students in the auditoriums.

A source declared for Top Channel that the investigations are focused on the person who has made this gift to Renzo Bossi. However, the Kristal University has declared earlier that Renzo Bossi has been registered for the academic year 2007-2008, and has finished the graduation according to the rules. During the publication of this issue by the Italian media, the Milano Prosecution declared that Bossi has been registered with the number 482, and has graduated on Business Management. The diploma was released in 2010.
