Investigations against Evsen suspended

Eight months after the start of the investigations for Ali Evsen, the
boss of some well known companies in Albania, such as “Albanian
Airlines”, the Tirana Prosecution closed them with the argument that he
is not involved in suspicious money transfers in Albania.
The Egyptian was arrested in Spain, and the authorities of this country suspected that by being close to the friends of the former Egyptian President, Hosni Mobarak, he could have cleaned money even in Albania. But it results that he hadn’t committed this crime in our country.
Unofficial sources confirmed for Top Channel that there is no data indicating that Ali Evsen is guilty for the charges.
A few days after Ali Evsen was arrested in Madrid, the Task Force Unit started the investigations for the Egyptian citizen, based on State Police information.
Within 72 hours, the court seized all bank accounts and blocked all financial actions of the 12 businesses related to Ali Evsen.
The Albanian Airlines declared for the media that the frozen bank accounts automatically blocked its entire activity.
Ali Evsen was released by the Spanish authorities and now is under investigation only in Spain, for signing fictive contracts with the Egyptian Hyssein Salem, a person with close ties to the former President Moubarak.
