Investigation, SC values Albania for EULEX investigations

Great Britain, Germany, France and USA, countries that have recognized the independence of Kosovo, asked Prishtina, Belgrade and Tirana to cooperate for revealing the truth and not allow politics to interfere.

These countries also invited official Belgrade to remove the security structures from the Kosovo territory, and behave in full accordance with the EU values and principles. On the other hand, the states that have not recognized Kosovo’s independence, such as China and Russia, see the Security Council as a solution.

In this meeting of the Security Council for Kosovo was also present the Kosovo Foreign Minister, Enver Hoxhaj, and also the Foreign Minister of Serbia, Vuk Jeremic. The head of the Kosovo diplomacy accused Serbia of not implementing the agreements with Kosovo, and acting like they are postponing the process in front of the EU.

The outgoing Serbian Foreign Minister, Vuk Jeremic, criticized the decision of the Prishtine Court for releasing Fatmir Limaj and nine other KLA soldiers. According to him, history will be repeated.

Jeremic declared that the footnote agreement doesn’t insinuate Kosovo’s representation as a state.

“The representation has a non-state character”, Jeremic declared.

After concluding the Security Council meeting, the head of the Kosovo diplomacy, Enver hoxhaj, answered to the journalists’ questions, while the Serbian Minister avoided them.

The foreign journalists insisted for an answer from Hoxhaj if the Kosovo institutions are training the Syrian opposition in their war against the government, but Hoxhaj denied it.

He confirmed that they have contacted with the Syrian opposition, and reminded that the Kosovo government had supported the Libyan opposition for the fact that Kosovo has fought for the same cause.

As for the further recognitions, Hoxhaj declared that they are expecting the recognition of some African countries.
