Investigating the death of the 22-year-old mother

A group of doctors from Tirana are investigating the case of a
22-year-old mother who passed away at the Korce Maternity, after
bringing to life her second baby.
Erjola Dinoshi lost too much blood and died one hour after birth. The family members say that her pregnancy went on without problems and she enjoyed perfect health.
Sources from the hospital confirmed that Dinoshi had a natural birth, but the death was caused by further complications.
But experts suspect that this is a negligence case. If this will be proved, the entire hospital staff will be prosecuted.
The Korce Police and Prosecution have started the investigations, although the coronary report has not been released yet.
Mishel Papakozma, chief of the Korce Maternity, was not present on this day, but he says that by the phone conversations with the colleagues, he has learned that the woman had what doctors call pregnancy tension. Preliminary examinations showed that the woman suffered brain hemorrhage, which caused her immediate death.
“The woman died while being prepared for the surgery”, Papakozma declared. However, the coronary examination should give a better view of the case.
