Inva Mula was welcomed in Belgrade with great respect. The media also
honor her talent and fear does not exist anymore. The Serbian prime
Minister also received her, while the public applauded with the same
warmth.
After 70 years, Inva Mula and Serbian artists started a new beginning and took new steps of cooperation. The world renowned soprano expects everything to go well with the show.
“It was an extraordinary reception. When I was going to the theater I noticed a huge picture of me at the main gate. For an artist it is very important to understand that there is a great desire for hospitality and respect to an artist. When I was told that Prime Minister Vucic would receive me, I was thrilled, because it is a huge honor made to an artist, being with a Prime Minister with positive energies and who supports art. It was beautiful”, Inva says.
Inva Mula received media attention and it seems that her art has ended the cold war. She was invited in most of Serbian media outlets.
“Art has a huge and beautiful message, peaceful and fast. Politics needs years to do this, history needs centuries. Bridges created by art are the most solid, the most beautiful and the shortest ones”, said the Albanian soprano.
The last Albanian soprano playing in a Serbian scene was Tefta Tashko Koco, and Inva Mula believes that this will be the start of cultural exchanges that will not end with applauds.
