The request of ambassadors Lu and Vlahutin, to be present at the meeting
of Parliamentary Groups of the SP, DP and the SMI, has found supporters
but also opponents among politicians.
Spartak Ngjela is one of the supporters of this intervention, which, as he said on Top Story, does not violate any sovereignty.
The lawyer said that the mission of the ambassadors is only one: “They will appear at the Parliamentary Groups and will tell them that voting against the reform is against them”, Ngjela said.
Paskal Milo is one of the opponents of these interventions. He said this Saturday that Ambassadors should not cross a red line. The former Foreign Minister explained the context of the declaration made at the forums of his own party.
“The declaration focused on the misery of the Albanian politics and of this parliament which forces our partners to come and teach us the ABC of politics and make such interventions that are not known in other sovereign countries”, he said.
Milo blamed the political class of being unable to build decent institutions for a NATO member and EU candidate.
Ngjela expressed his convinction that the justice reform will pass just because the political class has nothing on its hands with this reform.
“There are 3-4 dispositions in the constitutional amends, showing that everything which goes against the EU, shall be eliminated. The reform is at the EU. Nor the Socialists or the Democrats have anything on their hand. They only have the people’s pressure to enter the EU”, Ngjela said.
