Interior Minister part of air inspection: “No mass cultivation of cannabis”

The Minister of Interior, Dritan Demiraj, made an inspection from air
this Friday as part of the anti-cannabis plantation measures.

During this inspection, which was held in areas that used to be problematic one year ago, no case of cannabis cultivation was identified.

Reports received from the State Police also showed that there is no mass cultivation of narcotics, except for some isolated cases that were identified and neutralized.

The Minister encouraged the State Police to focus on identifying and seizing the plantations inherited one year ago, in order to prevent their trafficking abroad.
