The Albanian Parliament Speaker, Jozefina Topalli, is visiting
Strasbourg while attending the European Conference of Parliament
Speakers to lobby about Albania’s EU integration.
Topalli met her Italian and German homologues and discussed with the House of Lords Speaker and other European homologues.
Topalli’s conversations focused on Albania’s support for the EU integration, underlining that 96% of the Albanians are in favor of this integration.
During her visit in Strasbourg, Mrs. Topalli held a special meeting with the Finnish Parliament Speaker, who was updated with the political process that Albania is following in order to deserve every integration step for the EU candidate status this autumn.
The Finnish Parliament Speaker guaranteed Mrs. Topalli that his country will help Albania, trusting that the country’s EU assession would be a profit for everyone.
