Integrated waste management

“The recycling industry in this moment is being asphyxiated by the lack of raw materials in the country, which are not available due to the failure to be distributed in the sources. The Waste Recyclers Association asks the central and local governments to imlpement the waste integrated management as soon as possible, according to the law that passed for this matter and which would bring environmental benefits and would provide the raw materials for the recycling industry in our country”, declared Bardhyl Balteza, chairman of the Recycling Association.

According to Balteza, Albania must fulfill the legal framework and the standards same as in the other European countries. For Transparency, Balteza invites all politicians, civil society and environmentalists to have a closer approach to the recycling industry.
