The Minister of Economic Development, Tourism, Trade and Business, Arben
Ahmetaj, met with representatives of the Commerce and Industry Chamber.
The Minister said that harshening fines is a move to shows businesses
that fight against informality is serious, not to collect more fines.
The Minister asked for more cooperation in the operation against informality, saying that this is a fight against poverty and inequality.
“Those funds missing from the budget cause more poor people, leave fewer hospitals, schools, roads and public services. This is not a fight of the administration against businesses, but a joint battle against those who have damaged this rule of civilization”, the Minister declared.
