Inflation drops to 0.6%

INSTAT says that it was only 0.6%, compared to the same month of one year ago. But compared to January 2012, the prices have increased with 2.2% in food and soft beverage products.

As for the clothing and shoes, the prices have fallen with 0.5%. Leasing, fuels and water products have increased with 0.5%, mainly due to the price increase of the drinking water.

Transportation prices have increased with 0.8%, due to the oil price increase. While the good and services category increased with 6.1%, mainly due to the car insurance price that had doubled.
